We hope you love your Archivo Ateliér piece. As many of our garments are vintage, sourced individually and/or reworked by hand, each piece is unique. Please read the product description, measurements and photographs carefully before placing your order.

14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer located in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period has expired.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the item back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

RETURN SHIPPING

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with your order, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as you are responsible for ensuring that the return reaches us.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with the order, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

You may inspect and try on the garment as you would reasonably be able to do in a physical store.

You are responsible for any diminished value of the item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit.

Returned garments should therefore be handled with care and, where applicable, returned with their original tags and packaging.

Please avoid wearing returned garments beyond trying them on and avoid exposing them to perfume, make-up, smoke, stains or other conditions that may affect their value.

If the returned item has diminished in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund corresponding to the loss in value, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

VINTAGE & REWORKED ITEMS

Many Archivo Ateliér pieces are carefully sourced vintage garments and may have characteristics associated with their age and previous life. Reworked pieces may also contain handmade alterations and details that make each garment unique.

Any known significant characteristics, signs of wear or imperfections that are relevant to the purchase will be described and/or shown in the product listing.

Characteristics or imperfections that were clearly disclosed before purchase do not constitute a defect merely because the item is vintage or pre-owned.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or otherwise not in conformity with your order.

DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEMS

Please inspect your order when you receive it.

If your item arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or you believe the item is faulty or materially different from its description, please contact us at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] as soon as possible.

Please include your order number and, where relevant, photographs showing the issue so that we can assess the matter and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal and are not limited by this return policy.

EXCEPTIONS

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain goods where an exception under applicable consumer law applies, including goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

Please note that an item being vintage, one-of-a-kind, reworked or sold at a reduced price does not by itself remove any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to your purchase.

Gift cards and other products may be subject to exceptions where permitted by applicable law.

SALE ITEMS

Sale or discounted items may be returned where the statutory right of withdrawal applies.

The fact that an item was purchased on sale does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

EXCHANGES

Due to the unique and often one-of-a-kind nature of our pieces, we cannot guarantee exchanges.

If you wish to purchase another item, we recommend exercising your right to return the original item where applicable and placing a new order for the desired item.

REFUNDS

When you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will reimburse the payments covered by that right, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order.

If you chose a more expensive delivery method, such as express shipping, any additional cost above our standard delivery charge will not be refunded.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise expressly agreed.

We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
